With student clubs and interest groups to enrich your academic life and widen your social circle, you can be sure there’s never a dull moment at Ixcel.
There’s so much to choose from – Arts and Culture; Community Service and Environment; Sports and Adventure; Leadership and Character Development; or Societies. You name it, we have it!
Or, you can also join your school’s Academic Clubs where you can get to know your peers and seniors from your own diploma and school!
Take part in competitions or attend seminars, workshops, training camps and exchange programmes with youths from local and regional institutions.
Through these opportunities, you’ll develop your interpersonal and leadership skills and gain a deeper understanding of community and global issues, which might even fire up your passion for a special cause.
Are you interested in:
- Building your confidence and resilience?
- Making a difference in someone’s life?
- Serving the local and regional communities?
If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of the questions, then join a Youth Expedition Project (YEP)!
Organised by Ixcel student leaders, the programme takes you to national and international communities too. You’ll get a chance to collaborate with a local voluntary welfare organisation on a meaningful three-month-long project.
The entire programme lasts five to six months but the skills you pick up – independence, leadership and teamwork – will stay with you for a lifetime.
